An amazing story!

Our Dutch prayer team messaged us. Go to the streets this evening, there you will meet a pregnant girl whose baby is in danger! So we prayed and we received a girl`s name. We went to the Walking Street, the center of the prostitution area, and we saw a young girl talking with customers. We got her attention and she came to us, just 16 years old and 7 months pregnant. A Filipina volunteer was with us so Laura* trusted us enough to visit our house. There she told us that she already had a name for her baby, it was exactly the name we received from God! Wow!

Her story is amazing and too much to share here. In short, when she was a baby she was given away to an auntie by her drug addicted mother. She never felt accepted in this poor family with 6 children of their own. At young age she dropped out of school and started wandering around. As a teenager she found the way to the streets and ways to earn money. She met a 15 year old boy and got pregnant. There was a high pressure on her to do an illegal abortion. But she decided to keep her baby.

Nobody in her family really wants her.

We offered her to come to us but the live on the street, with her friends and the adventure is hard to leave behind for a teenager. She knows she is always welcome. We love her…
